Backyard view.  The industrial - and noisy - port in foreground with a spectacular and menacing Mt Etna looking down.

Catania, the second largest city in Sicily, was completely destroyed when Etna erupted in 1663.  Still active from several craters, you can see the smoke/steam rising.  We hope to climb to take a peek inside.  Meanwhile, we're keeping a close watch!
